BOOKS UNDER 200 PAGES

There are many short books that you can read. The following books are the one I recommend based upon my experience.


1. THE UNSOLVED CASE OF AN INDIAN WOMEN BY PUNEETH JHA


GENRE: PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER

SYNOPSIS: Meet Tandel, more precisely, Miss Tandel. A forty-year-old advocate, who fights corruption, solves crimes and stops women harassment.

"You are gonna die soon." She received a threatening note.

"There is no evidence, madam. I guess you are overthinking." The Police officer had said.

"You are hallucinating. You may be Paranoid." The doctor added.

Everyone thinks she was mad!

She was not.

Or was she?

2. THE CHRISTMAS CAROL BY CHARLES DICKENS

GENRE: NOVELLA, CHRISTMAS STORY

SYNOPSIS: A Christmas Carol, is a novella by Charles Dickens, first published in London by Chapman & Hall in 1843; the first edition was illustrated by John Leech. A Christmas Carol tells the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an old miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. After their visits Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man.


3. LOVE STORY BY ERICH SEGAL

GENRE: ROMANCE NOVEL

SYNOPSIS: He is Oliver Barrett IV, a rich jock from a stuffy WASP family on his way to a Harvard degree and a career in law.


She is Jenny Cavilleri, a wisecracking working-class beauty studying music at Radcliffe.


Opposites in nearly every way. But they fell in love.


This is their story.


4. THE STORY OF HOW WE MET BY IVY OAKES

GENRE: NOVELLA

SYNOPSIS: They say nothing ever happens in small towns..


When Sarah comes home from her improvised summer vacation, she finds out two guys have just moved in. Not only that, but her friend Alana is dating one of them and thinks it would be fun if Sarah dated Julien’s equally hot brother.


However, Sarah is not interested in Gary's constant happy whistling. She prefers to hear Julien’s stories about the stars even if some stars die at the end. The more time they spend together, the more she wants to be around him.


So Sarah decides to control her feelings. Easier said than done.


Usually things are never as easy as they should be, and when it all becomes a huge mess, a valuable lesson will be learned. Sarah's mother says that when the heart speaks, we must hear. Will Sarah listen to it?


5. THE DEAD GIRL'S SECRET BY SHRUTI PRIYAA

GENRE: CRIME THRILLER

SYNOPSIS: The corpse of a girl is found in a desolate alley in Powai. Her arms and legs are raised and her neck is lifted up from the ground. Why did the woman’s rigor mortis form in such a weird manner? And why did the pathologist’s face change when he saw the corpse?

GENRE: POETRY AND LETTERS
